and perform they did...

The closing ceremony was a huge success. Beyond anyone's expectations, it seems. It began with the Pink Group, who bridged the training smoothly with their session on Appreciative Evaluation, asking each small group of participants to perform their findings of "What was best" from the training...through song, through poetry, and pictures.

Put simply. It took my breath away.

Teater Garasi then took it a step higher with a "Suku Fasilitator" ceremony...loosely choreographed, beautifully coming together with every single person moving to the rhythm of their heartsongs.

What I learned? That ultimately it is trust in the ability of the human spirit to soar -- and showing that you (I) believe...with your (my) whole being -- that matters. All you really have to do is give it (them) the space to be the best that they can be.

So congratulations to all who made this event a whole experience...my beloved team, Dani, Dian, Dendy, Intan and Nova, and those of you who allowed us to take you on this journey... Jilly, Yudi, Cindhil, and Bedjo (never forgotten, even though sometimes we neglect to mention you!). And most of all, thank YOU for allowing me to be part of the journey.
